Aldershot

Barnes


Vine Road Recreation Ground Vine Road, Barnes, SW13 0NE A Paddling Pool open in the summer months and a playground right next to it!


Battersea


Battersea Zoo- a lovely zoo, most suitable for younger kids as it is on the smaller size. The park is also a great place to meet up with friends with loads of outdoor space and always lots going on during the weekends!


Battersea Power Station- they have a great new playground, with lots of restaurants and shops to spend around so can easily spend a whole day there! They also host different kid activities during half terms- so keep an eye out!


Chessington



Chessington Garden Centre- perfect place to go if just need a last minute simple outing to entertain the kids or a rainy day local outing! Lots of flowers to look at inside and outside, a lovely inside cafe with lots of food options and a little animal area with fish, bunnies etc to view.


Eden Play Cafe- A newly reopened stay and play for little ones! Large bouncy castle, slides, soft play, train/vehicles and baby area. Under 1 year - £3 , over 1 year- £5 - term time only.


Little Peeps Soft Play- a great soft play with a ball pit, climbing frames, a baby section and lots of tables with highchairs for parents and little ones!


Busy Bees Soft Play- Great for under 5s, a soft play with toys and a cafe! Located at Chessington Cricket Club.


East Molesey



Bushy Park- my favorite 'local' park for a morning or day out! The playground is very spacious with areas for all different ages, lots of deer, swans and sucks to spot and the Peasantry cafe has delicious coffee, cake and one of the best sausage rolls I've ever had!


Epsom


Hobbledown Farm- a great adventure park with farm animals, rope climbing frames, indoor playbarn and lots more! Most ideal for kids 4+ (but website mentions 2+).


Esher


Garsons PYO Farm- a great farm where you can pick your own fruits and vegetables! They are only open during the summer and fall season, but it's a great outdoor activity for kids of all ages. They also have a farm shop and delicious cafe for when you are there to enjoy!


Jump In Adventure Park - trampolines and soft play, perfect way for the kids to burn off energy! They also have special toddler times which is helpful to know when planning your outing.


Farnham


Alice Holt Forest - a lovely nature walk with a kids play areas and large Gruffalo sculptures!


The Spotted Cow- an amazing pub with a playground on site, tons of outdoor sitting space and great food! It is a popular place on the weekends but it is so spacious that you will always find a seat!


Godstone


Godstone Farm- they have just opened the largest softplay in Surrey!


Guildford


Giggleville cafe- A soft play cafe for under 7s with a sea theme. Trampoline, ball pit, slides etc!


Stoke Park- an amazing park that has an updated playground, skate park, paddling pool, mini golf, a cafe and beautiful flowers to look at! I can imagine it gets crowded on warm weather weekends but during the week or early mornings should be quieter!



Hersham


Hersham Recreation Ground and Splash Pad- play areas with a zip line, sand pit, splash pad (open in summer months), basketball court, play wall and more!


Safari Mini Golf- fun for the whole family!


Hounslow


Hobbledown- a large indoor/outdoor adventure playground! On Tuesdays & Thursdays they have Toddler days which means entry is only £10 for 1 adult and 1 toddler/pre-schooler (under 5s!)


Isle of Wight (if looking for a full day outing)

The ferry going into Yarmouth will be a shorter drive to Tapnell Farm and Yarmounth is a lovely little town, but the ferry into Fishbourne has two small soft play areas on the ferry and definitely more roomy!


Tapnell Farm- the longest traveling journey on the list but well worth it! The ferry to the island itself is fun for the kids, and Tapnell Farm in Freshwater Bay is an amazing day out! They have an indoor/outdoor play area, farm animals, a farm shop, a water park, amazing food and more!


Kingston (couldn't resist adding a local spot!)


The Pod at the YMCA Hawker- a lovely soft play for ages up to 9 years old! They are open 7 days a week, but on the weekends they only offer a morning play 8.15am-10am, it is great for the early risers though!

They have lots of climbing frames, ball pit and a little sensory room for babies or those with special needs. Fabulous local soft play! £6 per child, walk-ins only.


Morden


Morden Hall Park- A great spot for a walk and picnic, also has a garden centre and cafe!


New Malden


World of Golf- a perfect outdoor outing for kids, especially dinosaur lovers! Adventure golf course with 18 holes with waterfalls, moving dinosaurs and caves.


Leatherhead


Bocketts Farm- a wonderful indoor/outdoor adventure park for kids of all ages! It has lovely grounds, with animals and lots of indoor/outdoor options of play areas, including cafes and many places to sit. When the weather is nice this is the ideal place to go!


Redhill


Priory Farm Estate, Discovery Land - a magical place to take a family nature walk with play areas, gardens, woods, and a lake to feed the fish!


Richmond


Cheeky Chops Play Cafe- an indoor play cafe for kids ages 0-5!


Sunbury on Thames


Spelthorne Gymnastics- on Mondays and Thursdays they have an open play for under 5s with gymnastics, softplay and trampolines ( parent supervised) as well as a cafe and baby play area. £8 per child. Must book online in advance!


Twickenham


Squires Garden Centre- when you need a simple outing this can be a great place! There are fish and guinea pigs to look at including a cafe to grab a treat.


Orleans House Gallery- great themed events for children!


Weybridge


Brooklands Community Park & Skate Park- great place for kids to scooter and learn how to ride a bike, and with kids play areas!


Weybourne Gymnastics Club-they offer a stay and play everyday weekday from 9am-12.30pm, walkins welcome but ideal to book via email as capacity for adults is limited. Up to kids 5 years old.


Windsor


Windsor Great Park- 4800 acres of forests, grassland and gardens! They have a free toddler playground and this summer they are opening Adventure Play which is a new pay to enter, adventure playground for all ages.


Wimbledon


Dean City Farm- a lovely local farm with animals and a cafe! They also host fun themed events throughout the year.


Wimbledon Splash Park (seasonal) - a great place to take the kids during the warm summer days. It has six paddling pools, a splash pad, two interactive play areas , as well as crazy golf and a playground. The splash park is opened from 12 June - 3 September, 10am - 5pm!


Wisley


Wisley Gardens- 200 acres of woodland and gardens! They have playground/play spaces for kids, a softplay, kid friendly gardens to learn about nature, cafes and more!
