Spring arts & crafts competition with Usborne books!

Encourage your child to get creative with spring themed arts & crafts and share your creation and be in the drawing to win £50 worth of books!

Go on a Bear Hunt!

29th March - 7th June around Kingston Town Centre

Based on Michael Rosen’s iconic children’s book ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’, you’ll be able to discover the bears in the town centre. The ten bear sculptures are all hand-painted with never-before-seen artwork by different artists, each with a distinct theme. More details can be found here!


May Marrie festival

4th May, 2pm on Burton Road at St Lukes Vicarage Garden

Free local family afternoon, including local singer group PieLarks, Morris dancing, chalk drawing, and various party games including.

All proceeds from the event will go to the association's current charities: Kingston Food Bank, Kingston Churches Action Against Homelessness, and St Luke's Church.


Public Running Day at Malden District Society of Model Engineers | KT7 0LE

5th & 6th, 26th, 27th May, 1pm-4pm

For kids who like trains- this is for them! Two train tracks for kids to ride on real mini steam trains, adults welcome as well.

Food stands onsite!


The Seething Freshwater Sardine Festival | Claremont Gardens, Surbiton, KT6 4BN

5th May, 12-5pm

Celebrate the ancient tradition of sardine fishing in the River Thames in Surbiton.

Come to enjoy bands and entertainment all day, delicious fresh food and drink stalls to keep everyone refreshed. At 2pm a procession takes us to the river to watch the haul of the sardines, which are loaded onto a cart and pulled back by the Giant Guinea Pigs of Seething to the famous Sardine BBQ. View here!


Youth Anthems Kingston @ The Fighting Cock

All ages welcome, punk rock bands- please bring ear defenders for little ones!


Poppy & Sam Storytime and coloring activity @ Kingston Library

This event is free, and best suited for those under 5.


The Village Fete and Community Sports Day @ Victoria Recreation Ground, Surbiton, KT6 5JL

11th May, 11am-4.30pm

The event will feature traditional sports day races such as egg and spoon, sack race and three-legged race. A fun dog show will also take place alongside live music, community picnics, food stalls and a charity bar run by The Lamb, Surbiton. View here!
